A little bit about my work!I ventured into the world of fanart over a decade ago with The Lord of the Rings. My grandparents introduced me to the trilogy, and after my Grandma passed away it was a way for me to feel closer to her. It was also my escape during an extremely toxic situation; the stories of friendship and hope giving me hope for a brighter day.After I stumbled on the A Song of Ice and Fire series in 2016, I was immediately drawn into the world, stories, and characters. I particularly grew a fondness for Jon Snow, who sort of harkened me back to Frodo Baggins - a character whose courage in the face of overwhelming odds made a difference. I remained largely removed from the fandom (particularly on twitter) until 2021, when I discovered many others still shared a passion for the story.
Daenerys Targaryen struck a deep chord in my heart, and in late 2022 I read Fire and Blood, which only pulled me deeper into the world of Westeros. I began posting art more regularly, receiving a few commission requests here and there (which I put off for months thanks to attention deficit issues😭). In 2023 I opened commissions formally, and was delighted and surprised to find that many people were interested in my work.However you happened to land here, I want to thank you! It means a lot that you would take the time to peruse my art. Even if some of the characters or couples here aren't your cup of tea, I do hope you find it an enjoyable experience regardless.Eleni sílar antalyannar!
